March 9, 1945, Indochina. Japanese troops launch a sudden and brutal assault over the French troops. A small unit of legionnaires from different nationalities, already weakened by alcohol and illness, decides to reach the Chinese border and the allied bases. Hunted by the Japanese army in the hostile jungle, torn by hunger and thirst, crushed by the heat, the tensions within the group of survivors threaten their unity and survival…
